Wellington Correctional Centre Mouse Plague Remediation

Wellington Correctional Centre was heavily affected by the mouse plague and DICE Contracting was one of the contractors engaged to undertake urgent remediation and future proofing works within a short timeframe of only 3 months.

The scope included removal of all damaged and contaminated interior linings, carry out thorough deep clean and sanitisation of the entire jail wing, upgrade of damaged electrical and plumbing infrastructure, carry out futureproofing to prevent further mouse plague infestations, full external and internal paint, security upgrade, installation of bedding, appliances, fittings and fixtures, and more.
